The Gift of Love

There are many misconceptions of what love really is, and The Gift of Love will do much to dispel these false concepts and reveal the true meaning of love. The Gift of Love includes a wedding talk given by Joel Goldsmith as well as his carefully chosen thoughts on the nature, meaning, and possibilities of love. This beautiful volume simply yet insightfully presents the power that love holds to transform us and our world. Goldsmith invites us to see love as a gift that has already been given, a gift that becomes manifest at the very center of life. He shows us how love is the universal medium through which we can come to recognize the pure Christ in every person and every situation.
The Gift of Love gives words of inspiration to the newly married and reveals the special quality of wedded love, which can be the answer to many marital problems. But this book is really for everyone who wants to expand their understanding of love. As Goldsmith says, “Our first and foremost task is to fill our consciousness with love, forgiveness, gratitude, praise, loyalty, and devotion, not only to God, but to our neighbor as well. We must heal and cleanse ourselves until we become transparencies through which God’s love reaches the earth.”

Leave Your Nets
ISBN: 978-1-889051-29-1
Retail Price $16.95
Jesus said, “Leave your nets and follow me.” Joel Goldsmith’s Leave Your Nets is a similar call to set forth on that great adventure, the journey of the Spirit. This book in no way suggests that we leave our occupations, our families, or other obligations. Rather, Goldsmith sets forth the premise that unless and until we leave our dependency on the material consciousness of things and develop spiritual consciousness, we will be bound to the limitations of human existence.
Leave Your Nets shows the reader how to live and work here and now with a constant sense of peace and with greater creativity and efficiency. Goldsmith explains the way to awaken from the passive, hypnotic sleep of the material world to a new, fulfilling and enlightened spiritual world, in which all beings are at one with God and at inner peace with themselves. This book has tremendous value for those who want to accept the call to awaken and become a light unto the world and a ‘fisher of men.’

A Parenthesis in Eternity
ISBN: 978-1-939542-65-6
Retail Price $24.95
In describing A Parenthesis in Eternity, Goldsmith said, “In many classes I have touched upon mysticism to prepare our students for the unfoldment of the real meaning and function of the Infinite Way. Now, in the book, A Parenthesis in Eternity, my entire inner life is disclosed: my reason for living and my mission. The autobiography of my personal life would be boring: uneventful school days, routine business experience, and then out of the blue sky, a spiritual experience. This book is my spiritual life as many of you have seen it from the outside, but here explained from the inside.”
A Parenthesis in Eternity is a compelling, comprehensive presentation of the mystical journey that Goldsmith experienced. In Part 1, he lays out the principles that form the basis of mysticism, explaining that at its core is the truth that there is an inner, divine spiritual Self, a manifestation of God, which is our true identity. In Part 2, Goldsmith explains that as humans, we live in a “parenthesis” of the seeming boundaries of birth and death, as well as in mental and material limitation. The purpose of the spiritual path, he says is to wipe out this parenthesis and bring us to the mystical experience of conscious union with God. With deep knowledge born of experience, Goldsmith describes the path we must travel to attain that goal, fully explaining the three stages, or “degrees” of spiritual unfoldment.
In Part 3, Goldsmith elaborates on the nature and quality of the mystical life, emphasizing that this fourth dimensional consciousness is practical, for it is the secret of an harmonious, abundant life, free from fear and discord.
All spiritual seekers will find A Parenthesis in Eternity to be an engaging, enlightening gift from one of the leading spiritual teachers of the 20th century.

God, the Substance
of All Form
ISBN: 978-1-889051-30-7
Retail Price $16.95
In God, the Substance of All Form, Goldsmith establishes the mystical truth that God is the reality, the divine consciousness of our being, and that the purpose of the spiritual life is to bring us to the fullness of that realization. He teaches that we can come to this realization through meditation, in which we can gain a conscious awareness of the presence and power of God. The very object of a spiritual path, the author explains, is to experience the truth that “I and my Father are one.”
Goldsmith clearly explains that power, substance and life are never in any effect, but always in that which produces the effect. He goes on to show that this Consciousness, this Spirit that we truly are, is the substance of all spiritual form, and takes us deeply into that truth:
“We have said that God is the substance of all form, that God is the reality of all form, the substance and reality of all effect. Are we then to understand God as the substance of the body, trees, flowers, sun, moon, stars, and all that we cognize with the material senses? No, this is a spiritual universe. It is true that God is the substance of all form: God is the substance of your very body and of all creation; but remember, when I see you, that is, when I see your body or when I see the trees or flowers, I am not seeing God’s creation – I am not seeing the spiritual universe – I am seeing only a finite material concept of it. This means that the only universe there is, is the real universe, and the only body there is, is the real body, but what I am seeing is my concept of them. Therefore, the only unreality about them is in my false concept of them.”
With the finely honed skill of a master teacher, Goldsmith elaborates on this challenging principle, using it to explain how spiritual healing work is done, and emphasizing that a healing consciousness is one that is consciously aware of the perfection that already exists, despite any appearance. He answers age-old questions about death, the nature of the material world, and the relationship between consciousness and experience. He reveals how our conscious awareness of these truths can ensure a life of harmony, peace, abundance, and wholeness. Once we have attained the consciousness of the truth of our identity, he says, we need take no thought for things. We can relax and rely on God, individual consciousness, the substance of all form.

0 CommentThe Thunder of Silence
ISBN: 978-1-939542-69-4
Retail Price $16.95
Joel Goldsmith studied the spiritual literature of the world and he writes, “Insofar as I have observed from my study of the spiritual literature of the world, the truth stated in this book has never been fully revealed before, yet it is the absolute basis for true spiritual living.” The Thunder of Silence is based on the principle that there is an inner Grace available to all that does not operate through or by physical might or mental powers. Most people are not aware of this Grace, but when It is consciously realized, it will bring into expression everything that is necessary to our unfoldment. But, Goldsmith says, there is a price: this Grace operates only when we are willing to relinquish faith in anything and everything less than God – even faith in the “God” the world thinks it knows.
In the first part of The Thunder of Silence, Goldsmith presents the vision of this spiritual way of life and invites the reader to come into the awareness of the abiding Presence within. In the second part of the book, he treads confidently into the often puzzling subject of mind, answering the many questions that always surround that topic. The whole secret, says Goldsmith, lies in “making the transition from a thinking human mind to a mind at rest in a state of awareness.”
In the third part of the book, Goldsmith gives the reader an illumined interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount, which reveals the innermost secrets to attaining the realization of the Presence within. Effortlessly relating the Infinite Way principles to this extraordinary teaching of Jesus, Goldsmith works extensively with its challenging passages and reveals their deep meanings. He shows how practicing these ancient principles can help us to live in the world, but not of it. If we are fed by meditation in the blessed Silence that thunders with Truth, he says, we can live by the grace of God as the Light of the world.
Speaking about The Thunder of Silence, Goldsmith says, “It is a radical book. It will blow sky-high concepts of God that have been built up over the centuries.” But he cautions: “Readers of this book cannot expect that the mere reading of it will enable them to live by its revealed principles. Those who feel a thrill of recognition in their first reading should make this book their constant companion day and night until their materialistic state of consciousness begins to yield.” The Thunder of Silence will surely be a great help to spiritual seekers who want to reach that state of consciousness in which they can truthfully say, “I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.”

Consciousness Unfolding
ISBN: 978-1-889051-39-0
Retail Price $16.95
In Consciousness Unfolding, Joel Goldsmith takes the reader deep into the principles of The Infinite Way. He writes: “The subject matter of this book is the unfolding of consciousness. Our premise is that God, divine Consciousness, is unfolding, revealing, disclosing, and manifesting Itself as your individual being and as mine.”
Since God is my own consciousness, Goldsmith says, “all good flows out from my consciousness every moment of the day or night. Where I am, that Consciousness is; where that Consciousness is, I am. Therefore, right at this moment, all of the good I need, and all that I shall ever need, is flowing out from the center – right where I am.” It unfolds from within.
Consciousness Unfolding helps the reader not only comprehend the magnitude of that mysterious truth, but also fully grasp that it is a present possibility for any sincere seeker to experience it. Goldsmith provides the foundation of mystical wisdom required for understanding and explains how meditation and contemplation of scriptural truth help one come to this deep realization. He explains that when you are convinced that God is truly unfolding, revealing, and disclosing Itself as your individual being, you can trust that every issue of life – health, wealth, home, business, profession and relationships – will flow forth harmoniously. “Become convinced of your identity as life eternal,” he says, “and disease and death will fall away of their own nothingness. You will find that the body is being constantly renewed. Instead of being a piece of matter wearing out, it is consciousness, continuously unfolding and disclosing itself. This realization reveals the immortality of the body.”
In light of the revelations in Consciousness Unfolding, Goldsmith counsels the seeker: “Let your efforts not be to change the outer picture. Rather, direct your efforts toward realizing truth, love, life, as the very nature of your being.” Then you can relax and let this Presence within unfold Itself in all of its infinite beauty and perfection. For those who want to follow this promising spiritual path, Consciousness Unfolding will be a treasure.

Spiritual Interpretation
of Scripture
ISBN: 9780875163109
Retail Price $12.95
The Scriptures of the world seem to tell of two powers because they have been taken literally instead of interpreted in the light of spiritual inspiration. This has brought about a belief of separation between God and man, and this sense of duality is the root of all discord. So says Joel Goldsmith in Spiritual Interpretation of Scripture. But, he says encouragingly, when we interpret Scripture spiritually, the deepest lessons of the Bible by which we may live are revealed to us. Foremost among these lessons is that God is the only reality of our being, and our conscious realization of our oneness with God will make the promises in Scripture real in our experience.
Goldsmith intrigues the reader with the idea that the Bible is not a book outside of ourselves or a series of events that took place thousands of years ago. He says, “Scripture is the unfolding of characters and movements or happenings that are taking place within you – right this minute. Every biblical experience can be found in your consciousness at some time or other.” We embody within ourselves every Bible of the world, every philosophy, character and story, Goldsmith says, and when spiritually interpreted, these can be understood as states and stages of our spiritual development and unfoldment.
Working with Bible stories such as Creation, the Exodus, the Ten Commandments, Ruth and Naomi, and Joseph and his brothers, Goldsmith shows the reader how these really tell of our own experiences on the spiritual path, and he reveals the lessons they hold. Addressing the coming of the Messiah, a monumental theme in Scripture, Goldsmith says, “The Old Testament contains many prophecies of the coming of spiritual man, Messiah, Savior. The belief is that these prophecies referred to the coming of one particular spiritual man … but the advent of the Christ is the coming of perfection in you and me.”
Throughout Spiritual Interpretation of Scripture, Goldsmith offers fresh new meaning to many Bible passages and stories and demonstrates that the principles found in the Bible are echoed in many other Scriptures of the world. “These statements in the Bible,” he says, “which really are laws, must become a very part of our being. They must be realized, not merely declared or stated; they must become the very fabric of our being, then we can experience the outward result.”

The Infinite Way
ISBN: 9780875163093
Retail Price $10.95
Now considered a spiritual classic, The Infinite Way was Joel Goldsmith’s first book. After its publication, Joel said that he was no longer a man with a message, but a message with a man. Joel introduces The Infinite Way by saying, “In this small volume I have written the spiritual truth as I have gleaned it through over thirty years of study of the major religions and philosophies of all ages… Be assured inner peace will come as one turns to the spiritual consciousness of life, and an outer calm will follow in one’s human affairs. The outer world will conform to the inner awareness of Truth. The authority for all of this revelation will be you, as you yourself experience this change within and without.”
The Infinite Way is filled with the spiritual ideas and principles that are the foundation of The Infinite Way message. Goldsmith inspires, and possibly surprises, the reader with statements such as “Immortality is attained in proportion as personal sense is overcome … and that can be achieved here and now;” “Spiritual illumination enables us to discern the spiritual reality where the human concept appears to be;” and “To many, the word Christ persists as a more or less mysterious term, rarely if ever experienced by them. This we must change if we are to benefit by the revelation of a divine Presence of Power within us. Jesus told his disciples that they too are the Light of the world.” In this book, Goldsmith gives the reader the richness of the spiritual principles that constitute the message of The Infinite Way.
Readers will find the chapter “Soul” to be one of the most illuminating on that topic in spiritual literature, and the chapters on meditation, prayer, and supply will give the reader a fresh, new perspective on those timeless subjects. Joel himself said that the chapters “The New Horizon” and “The New Jerusalem” are two of the most important chapters in the Infinite Way writings. The section “Wisdoms of the Infinite Way” provides a collection of more than 100 short statements of spiritual wisdom that came to Joel Goldsmith in meditation. “Study the Wisdoms earnestly,” says Goldsmith. “Live with them day in and day out. Meditate on them and they will open up a way before you – the way of fulfillment.”
Goldsmith chose to put this quote from Lao-Tze at the beginning of the book: “There is no need to run outside for better seeing, nor to peer from a window. Rather abide at the center of your being; for the more you leave it, the less you learn.” Throughout the ages, this one message has withstood the test of time and continues to ring true today – seek the answer from within, and you will find the Truth. This is the message in The Infinite Way, and it has helped millions look inward and find “the peace that passes understanding.”
